Castel Grand Vin

The varieties used to create this wine are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, harvested from the vineyard’s finest plots. Prior to bottling, the wine is set to mature in French oak barrels, most brand new, for approximately 16 months, followed by approx. 4 months in concrete tanks.

Castel Gran Vin is a classic, elegant wine, bearing deep coloring and a concentrated and complex bouquet of blackberries, spices and fine (yet tangible) tannin. This is a balanced wine, with a velvety smoothness and a long clean finish. It is recommended to decanter the wine before serving.

C BLANC DU CASTEL

C Blanc du Castel is a white wine made purely of Chardonnay grapes (100%).
Using French oak barrels, the wine is fermented and then set to mature in its residual sugars for about a year, Bourgogne style.
‘C’ Blanc du Castel is known for its rich and buttery bouquet and refreshing acidity; it bears a full round flavor, with a touch of citrus, tropical fruit and roasted almonds. This is a well-balanced wine with a fine long finish. It reaches its peak about 4 years after its harvest, and the recommended serving temperature is 12-14 degrees Celsius.

ROSÉ DU CASTEL

Rosé du Castel is a blend of Merlot, Malbec and Cabernet Franc, which have been harvested before reaching phenolic maturity.

The light color bears evidence to the fast pressing and the short contact time the new wine has had with the grape skins.

The fermentation period is long, under cold temperatures, resulting in a light and refreshing yet prominent wine. The rosé bears an aroma of tropical fruit, peach and roses, and goes down with a lychee, lime, grapefruit and peach flavor. The recommended serving temperature is 8 degrees Celsius.

LA VIE ROUGE DU CASTEL

La Vie Rouge du Castel is a balanced fruity blend of the strains grown in the Judean Hills vineyards – Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot, and Syrah.
Following fermentation, the wine is set to mature for about a year in custom concrete tanks, which help preserve its fresh fruity aroma during the cropping season. The wine is at its peak during the first three years following the harvest, and is best served chilled.

LA VIE BLANC DU CASTEL

La Vie Blanc du Castel is a blend of strains – Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and a touch of Gewurztraminer.
